Amen.

This is a good year for continuing series, though. The 10th and final Malazan book just came out, the followup to The Name of the Wind is coming out sometime this month, and now this in Summer! I am pleased.

Awesome! Yeah I've been waiting for this, and the next in the Lies of Locke Lamora series...another one that's been taking quite some time!

If you haven't read "The Lies of Locke Lamora" and its sequel, "Red Seas under Red Skies" I definitely recommend it.

I am also excited that Jean Auel is finally publishing her new book at the end of the month. Martin has nothing on her for endless waits for the next book in a series.

she finally finished her story about "gatherer-hunters"

I liked the first two, though Auel's style grates on me from time to time.

Pretty much. I hated the first one, the second was ok, and I loved 3-5.
